Christmas in July!

ETA: My Christmas wreath won Top 3 at the Totally Tilda Challenge. Thank you girls!

I definitely love Christmas. So what could be better than making my Christmas decorations on July? This time I decorated an old wicker wreath with red and green ribbon, some pretty flowers and of course, these gorgeous Magnolia stamps. I'm entering the Totally Tilda Challenge: Christmas Decoration in July and the Magnolia Down Under Challenge: 3D card/project.

For this project I used Celebrate It ribbon, the Magnolia stamps are: Tilda writing diary and Edwin's town. As usual, I colored them using Copic markers. Skin: E11, E00, E000 and R20. Dress: R39, R27, R24 and R22. Hair: E37, E33 and E50. The houses: W5, W3, W1, E37, E33, E31, Y23 and Y21.

The beautiful flowers and decorative "hat" pins are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I also added Crystal Snow to the flowers for some sparkle.

I placed Tilda and each one of the houses at different levels for a nice 3 dimensional effect.

Happy Birthday with Secret Tilda!

Hello my friends! Today I'm sharing this Secret Tilda Birthday card I created using the sketch from Crafting Life's Pieces. I'm entering July's challenge along with the Simply Magnolia challenge: Birthday Card/Creation. Thank you Sharon for inviting me to join this challenge!

This time I decided to go with a "vintagey" look. I colored my little Secret Tilda with Copic markers and inked the edges with Tim Holtz, vintage photo, distress ink. As you can see, I created the base of the card with plain craft cardstock and painted the edges with white crackle paint, love this technique! I used My Mind's Eye paper distressing all the layers for a rough look.

The fabulous flowers and the pearl swirls are from Recollections, the metal corner is from Tim Holtz collection and the paper ribbon from Basicgrey. For this card I used the following Copics: Skin: E11, E00, E000 and R20. Hair: E37, E33, E31 and E50. Clothes: R22, R20 and R000. Present: Y26, Y23, Y21, W5, W3 and W1.

Adore!

Hello friends, I'm so happy I was able to make this Hawaiian Tilda card today for the Just Magnolia and hAnglar & sTanglar challenge. We invited my son's friend Dillan over for a play date, so while the kids were busy playing, I got a chance to "play" too. This is the card I designed using Jane's brilliant sketch.

I decided to take Tilda with Hawaii flower out of her package and bring her to life with some color. As usual, I used my copic markers. Skin: E11, E00, E000 and R20. Hair: E37, E33, E31 and E50. Dress and shoes: Y26, Y23 and Y21. Butterflies: BG15 and BG11.

I gave some sparkle to the butterflies and Tilda's flower with Crystal and Yellow Stickels. The paper is from My Mind's Eye, Stella and Rose collection. The flowers are Prima Flowers and the mini bingo card from Jenni Bowlin studio.

Teddy Bea Gift Box

ETA: My Teddy Bea Gift Box was selected as the Overall Winner by the Teddy Bo Challenge DT ladies. Thanks!

Happy Friday! I am so excited to submit my Teddy Bea Gift Box to The Teddy Bo Challenge: Anything But a Card. This is the very first time I submit one of my creations to a challenge, let's see how it goes. I recently found this adorable digital stamps and I have become "addicted". I want them all!

Teddy Bea "sitting, waiting for you" was the first digital stamp I purchased from the Teddy Bo website so I figured it would bring me good luck on my first challenge.

The gift box measures approx. 4 1/2"W x 7 1/2"H and 1" deep. It's perfect for chocolates, stamps, cards or even jewelery! I created a box template, cut it from chipboard and then decorated it using My Mind's Eye paper from the Lost and Found Collection.

The flowers and rhinestones are from Recollections, the ribbon and butterfly punch from Martha Stewart. Teddy Bea's gorgeous winds and the ornate plate inside the box from Tom Holtz signature products, idea-ology.

I colored Teddy Bea with Copic markers. Fur: E37, E35, E31, E50. Dress and Hat: V17, V15, V12 and V000. White accents: C5, C3, C1 and 0.

Thanks for visiting!
